The Coronavirus-induced pandemic dealt a heavy blow to the entertainment sector all across the world and Bollywood is no exception. However, in 2022, the Hindi film industry started coming back to life and then performed impressively in 2023. Once that happened, the revenue also increased for the different production houses of the industry. However, the jump seen by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is extraordinary. It has come to light that it saw a four-fold rise in revenue in FY 2022-23 compared to the previous fiscal. As per an article in The Economic Times, the reputed banner earned Rs. 276 crores in FY 2021-22 and in the next year, its revenue jumped to Rs. 1040 crores.
